 Adams State University Career Services offers a series of drop-in workshops each month for students and alumni. Each workshop is carefully designed to address common career-related concerns and questions. Workshops typically are 50 minutes long. Check out the scheduled workshops for this Spring 2017 Semester!

Prepare for the Career Fair: Developing a Resume & Cover Letter that gets Interviews!

Do you have a cover letter & resume? Are they up to date? Are you highlighting your work, volunteer, and leadership experiences? Your resume and cover letter represents you when you aren't there. It is your professional "snapshot". Your resume determines if you get an interview, and the interview determines if you get a job. Take the time to do your resume right!

Career Services staff will be set up in the SUB. Drop your resume or cover letter off on your way to lunch. We’ll review it while you eat and give you feedback when you return to pick up!

Still haven’t picked a major? Do you have a major that you now hate? We can help! Come on out to this interactive workshop. We will lead you in some self assessment, show you some really helpful resources, and take steps to build an individualized plan for you to explore different careers and make a decision!
